Habitat:

Spotted at dusk on the Trillium Gap hiking trail in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, near the Tennessee/North Carolina border. Medium elevation. Early August. Lush mountain forest.

Notes:

Sorry for the rough photo. It was getting too dark for the camera, and he/she was a ways off. I got a lucky shot just before he/she took flight.
