Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Arctiini. (Common Tiger Moth) Length: 33-35 mm. White FW is boldly marked with glossy blue-black spots. Thorax has blue-black spots. Abdomen is blue-black dorsally with orange laterial stripes and segment edges. Hosts: Deciduous trees and low plants.

Habitat:

Woodlands, fields, meadows, gardens. Came to light.
