Field Notes

Notes:

Not native to Mexico; a number of these Asian monkeys were introduced into an island of Catemaco lake (Veracruz, Mexico) as part of a research program. Eventually they were abandoned, and became for a long time a touristic attraction, but they seemingly were removed less than a year after I took these pics, and replaced with native spider monkeys.
