Nuwan, you are the expert. Maybe some of the IDs I found on the net might also be wrong? Sometimes the host plant is a very important issue, but for that one I do not know if it is only this plant or also others from the same family.
i disagree! should be Papilio polytes considering the feeding plant is Murraya koenigii. http://www.slbutterflies.lk/Larval.php?id=25&sid=0&action=Submit
Papilionidae, Papilioninae, Papilionini, should be Papilio demoleus, early instar caterpillar. https://www.flickr.com/photos/harikrishnank/7035849543/ http://www.ifoundbutterflies.org/47-Papilio/Papilio-demoleus http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/bfly/lime_swallowtail.htm http://nl.treknature.com/gallery/Europe/Netherlands/photo117888.htm http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_pbKM4qxmq4c/TR73h5kJNSI/AAAAAAAAOU4/lA_sv41vtrM/s1600/16.jpg http://jakesa.wordpress.com/2010/01/14/common-lime-butterfly-papilio-demoleus/ http://www.besgroup.org/2013/09/24/insects-in-the-bird-garden-2-butterflies-and-lime-plant/ http://butterflycircle.blogspot.ch/2011/11/life-history-of-lime-butterfly-v20.html
