I think this is either a Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, or a Two-tailed Swallowtail seeing the "tails" would give a better idea. Anyway here are the 2 species, maybe since you saw the actual butterfly you will be able to decide. http://bugguide.net/node/view/491 http://bugguide.net/node/view/23914
