Field Notes

Habitat:

Common throughout the area and often found at night atop trees in gardens, parks and so on

Notes:

This was a surprising spotting, There were half a dozen birds with up to two to a tree in a very small grove and they were all making the their low purring "moop moop noise which is a lot like a pigeon cooing.

I broke one of my rules and used a flash on nocturnal birds and I still an unhappy about it
