Field Notes

Habitat:

throughout the Caribbean usually found in lowland and coastal areas, open woodland, forest edge, clearings, scrub thickets and shrubby areas, cultivated fields, gardens and mangroves.

Notes:

The Zenaida Dove or Caribbean Zenaida is found through out the Antilles and the Yucatan Peninsula and is divided into geographical subspecies according to the reference site. I also saw it in St. Kitts.
