Habitat:

Living near raspberries and saw him while picking the berries.

Notes:

This mantis was about an inch long. Is this a male or juvenile?

Thanks for the info. This is the only image and I took this photo with my phone so not much detail.
Hi Ronald, this is a juvenile mantis. I can't say 100% but this reminds me a lot of a Chinese Mantis (Tenodera sinensis) nymph. http://bugguide.net/node/view/784273/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/676039/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/10098 I can't really tell from the image, but Chinese Mantids have stripes on their faces. Do you have any other views?
