Common Merganser

I got this picture with a disposable camera when I was a lot younger, so I apologize for the zoom. The females of the common and red-breasted species are very similar. I separated these birds by habitat mostly. The Common likes rivers and rarely visits bays. On the other hand, the Red-breasted like salt bays and does not inhabit rivers at all.
