Field Notes
Description:
Clumps of white opaque jelly cups covered by translucent layer of jelly. Some were small and nodular and others were tinged pink. <br> The largest would have been about 7 mm wide. <br> Also on the branch were minute pink jelly buttons (Ascocoryne sp.)
Habitat:
Spotted on a damp moss covered tree trunk - rain forest with eucalyptus and southern beech trees.
Notes:
Not sure if these are a species on their own or an emerging form of Myxarium species of jellies. Needs more research for a correct ID.
