Field Notes

Description:

Quite a big sized Stick Insect, around 13 cm in body length with wings, that's how I spotted her. She was flying around and eventually settled down at some branches around 1.5 meters height.
For a big Stick, especially a Female, its surprising that she is a good flyer.

In Pic #2, you can see her carrying her Egg, which is orangish in color.

Notes:

She looks similar to Gargantuiodea triumphalis, a specie that can be found in Peninsular Malaysia. However, am not sure if the same specie are also found in Borneo, but most likely from the same Genus.
