Description:

ruby red, brick red eyes

Habitat:

Copulating pair, edge of an expanded river, pond vegetation such as Iris and Lemna and Polygonum, in flight laying eggs in water directly at shore in still waters, up to three pairs were laying eggs in the same spot even though many meters of similar shore were availalble
