Description:
Finch like bird native to Asia & the Phillipines which has spread to the US due to the pet trade. Also known as the scaly breasted Munia. There have been frequent siteings in Southern California.
Habitat:
Urban back yards feeding on seeds.
Notes:
I had 4 birds at my feeder for a number of days
