Field Notes

Description:

Cliff Swallow nests with swallows! The white forehead identifies them as cliff swallows and looks like they're wearing a visor!

Habitat:

Front porch eaves (can also nest under cliff overhangs but seem to prefer front porches. Maybe because humans attract insects?)

Notes:

Also saw a violet-green swallow one day. Very unusual since this was a dry spot and they usually hang out near water.
