Description:
A small,white or grayish white stork,with black in the wings. Reddish black bill, with diagnostic arching mandibles, leaving a gap between them. The gap helps it to open thick shells of snails found in marshes.Sexes alike.Seen in two or three or in flocks.
Habitat:
Ponds and marshes.
