No problemo, ChiefRedEarth. I'm glad to be of some help, although like bayucca said this might no be the right ID.
Bayucca thank you for the links. Here I am updating with the given id for the time being. And thank you Jae for the ID support, and my most favorite - the saying by Chief Seattle on your page. :)) I love it.
Looking at this ant mimic mantis: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6441535 I am sceptic about this one is Myrmecomantis atra. We have almost no info about the range of this species, so India and Panama are a little bit too different for making a safe ID. I found several mantises but all without an ID. We would need more inputs here for a safe ID. http://www.indianaturewatch.net/displayimage.php?id=268944 https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/35508010 http://mantodea.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1186095
