Fer de Lance

We found a surprise on our bird feeder a couple of days ago a Fer de Lance. Fortunately my husband and a couple of friends helped capture him safely and the University of Panama came up and took the snake for making anti-venom. It is one of the most dangerous snakes in Latin America as you can see in the picture where they are milking the venom out how long his fangs are. They believe this snake to be a female because of it's size and about 4-5 years old, she was about 6' long.
