Field Notes

Description:

Fruit is oval shaped and has from 4-8 prominent longitudinal ridges. In cross section it resembles a star. The skin is thin, smooth and waxy. Turns from green to yellow when ripened.

Habitat:

It is grown very well in tropical and subtropical areas.

Notes:

Very refreshing when made into juice and delicious when ripe.
