Field Notes

Description:

Wingspan perhaps 2-2.5" across. Thoroughly enjoying a discarded apple!

Habitat:

Ponderosa Pine forest, at the Kaibab Plateau Visitor's Center. Apparently this is one of the most difficult hiking trails in the area. Oh if I were only about.... 30 years younger....! A lovely, lovely area. Nice visitor's center too.
