Description:

Fungi with smooth yellow underside and brown, almost scab like top.

Habitat:

Growing under pine trees, in ancient ruins.

Thank you lori.tas for your help with this identification.
Since I can't see any gills on the underside of the cap, I'm going to suggest that it is a species of Boletes (fungi with pores).
I have as yet been unable to identify this species.
