Description:

Laurel Sumac is a shrub that can grow up to 15 feet tall. It has taco shaped leaves that give it its nickname: "the taco plant." It's leaves are filled with volatile compounds, which give them their distinct fragrance. It's stems are a deep red color, and stay that way all year long.

Habitat:

Laurel Sumac is found in chaparral, near coastal sage, and oak woodlands.
