Description:

Family: Araneidae. Genus: Argiope. Orb Weaver Spider. Common. Color: White(silver), black and yellow bands. Length including legs - A little over an inch. (25.4 mm) Harmless to humans. Non-aggressive.

Habitat:

Gardens, yards, fields. Found in my garden on yellow mums.
