Description:

Potentially a Brown Widow spider. It was a brown color with long legs that were dark brown to black at the "joints". The abdomen had 3 orange spots in a line going along the body. Running parallel to the orange spots were black spots. The total length of this spider including the legs was about the size of a U.S. quarter.

Habitat:

Found at 11:00 am. It was a bright sunny day with the temperature in the mid-high 70's. This spider was found on the side of a building close to the shutters that are always kept open and provide a dark quiet spot to hide.
