Field Notes

Description:

Approximately l-1l/2". Light tan with darker brown on back in an "X" pattern. Large toe pads.

Habitat:

Spotted at the wooded edge of the backyard.

Notes:

Spring Peepers are nocturnal but this spotting was mid-afternoon. They hibernate under logs and loose bark. I probably disturbed this one as I tramped through the leaves.
