Field Notes
Description:
Out of the 7 different species of Vulture in Africa, I believe this one is the White-backed Vulture. These ones were spotted in Maasai Mara area by a river where the great Wildebeest migration takes place. These Vultures were feasting on dead carcasses along with Marabou Storks.
Notes:
Currently updated to the Endangered species list in 2012.
