Description:

Large orangish colored spider with brown patterned markings, has webs that are nearly 2 feet in diameter that are very organized.

Hi Lee, that's a nice looking spider! This is a type of Orb Weaver, family Araneidae. Unfortunately I cannot tell which genus or species this is. One way to help identify Orb Weavers is to get both a picture of the dorsal pattern (top of abdomen) and the ventral pattern (bottom of abdomen).
