Description:

Mated pair of harlequin ducks kept hanging around our fish nets. One morning the male got stuck in the net, but we released him with no significant damage. Took this picture a couple days later

Habitat:

rocky stream in Northern Alaska

Notes:

Harlequin ducks fly inland for the summer rather than North or South.
