Nephila sp. and Nephila pilipes jalorensis. I am sceptic about this one being the male. This is the female, males are much, much smaller and have different colors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephila_pilipes http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Giant_Wood_Spider_(Nephila_pilipes)_in_Kawal_WS,_AP_W2_IMG_1531.jpg http://araneae.thu.edu.tw/ica2013/sites/img/symposiums/nephila.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mating_nephila_pilipes_-_golden_orb-web_spider.jpg http://www.photosofanimals.com/spider-photos/spider-pictures/dsc01777_std.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gInrPu_YeJE/Tu8pOYcYdzI/AAAAAAAAAqA/JkwnSGruERc/s640/Nephila+pilipes.jpg Here you clearly see the differences! http://frank.itlab.us/photo_essays/wrapper.php?jul_09_2008_queenstown.html http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nephila-pilipes-Jun_24_0162_male_dragling_path.jpg http://bunyipco.blogspot.ch/2010/05/golden-orb-weaver-nephila-maculata.html
