Description:

Purple-rumped sunbirds are a common sunbird endemic to the Indian subcontinent, often seen in cultivated areas and rarely in forests. They exhibit strong sexual dimorphism, with the male being the only one of the two gifted with the 'purple rump' and the females being a dull olive on their back and yellow on their breast.

The first photograph was a moment of luck. I've captured sunbirds flying off before but they've always been out of focus. The trick is to just keep clicking. ;)
It took me a moment to understand the first photo, but now that I see it I am quite amazed. A great spotting, and a beautifully 'artistic' lead photo. Well done :-)
