Field Notes

Description:

Found exploring a pomaderris bush this two-toned shield bug had a white spot at the centre of it's back along with four small spots across it's shoulders. All brown and green it was about 22mm long. Quite alert and continually tried to get to the other side of the leaf.

Habitat:

Within a nature reserve incorporating stringybark, acacias, pomaderris, pittosporum, assorted woody shrubs and grasses.

Notes:

Searchng for species... Pentatomoidea -> acanthosomatidae??
