Description:

Beautiful jewel beetle, in metallic green and blue. The sun added some extra light, from above, so a chance for nice shots.
Sternocera genus belongs to the subfamily Julodinae, and has three species in Thailand, one is the copper brown S. chrysis, the other two are green, but with a clear distinction of leg colour: S. aequisignata has greenish legs and pictured here S. ruficornis has red legs.
