Field Notes

Description:

4- 5 inches high, thinner at the base. Second photo shows a pair that are not too far away which are darker and have been eaten away by slugs (probably!)

Habitat:

Westcoast temperate rainforest, fir, alder, birch, maple and understory of vanilla leaf, decaying leaves, thimble berries.

Notes:

If this is a Stinkhorn it is a lifer for me. I think it is not mature yet and so harder to ID.
