Field Notes

Description:

Low-lying weed, produces pretty purple-blue flowers in the Spring. Typically found in thin spots on lawns.

Habitat:

Waste areas, lawns, especially thinner lawns.

Notes:

Found alongside the Dry Creekbed garden in the Missouri Botanical Garden.
