Field Notes

Description:

This delicious edible mushroom, with a mild seafood flavor, also has many medicinal uses. It has been given for a variety of stomach issues from gastritis to cancer. It is anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory, boosting the immune system, and reported to inhibit cancer DNA and RNA synthesis. Though the most promising aspect of this fungus is it increasing nerve growth and promoting the developement of myelin, a protective sheath over your nerves that assists in transmission of nerve impulses. All of this holds great promise in the treament of a variety of neurological disorders or injuries, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, and dementia to name a few.

Notes:

I had returned to check up on this spotting, http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/43707181 , and about jumped out of my boots with joy to find they were bearded tooth, never seen so many in one place.
