Field Notes

Description:

~ 1.5cm wide wings at maximum, dusty silver brown, one prominent yellow bar in middle of upper wing with small 2-black dots , antennae curved under wing, large brown eyes

Habitat:

common on moss and weed "lawn", darts up as you walk to keep ahead of you like the "lawn-mower moth", most likely a human exagertaed-selected trait in response to disturbance (modified from some clearly adaptive wild trait)
