In any case, the species also has distinctive upper side features to distinguish them from other local Pyrgus sp. (see link in notes).

HalleyRai, I live in Switzerland. I hike a lot at the sub-alpine and alpine levels, which have the highest biodiversity for butterflies here. Your have wonderful wildlife in Nepal too! I have visited the Kathmandu Valley twice, in 1990 and in 1998, and in that time I noticed that pollution and rapid urbanization were causing a lot of damage. If you open your eyes, as you already have, you'll be surprised by what you can find! Any observation is important on Project Noah.
