Description:

Red-breasted mergansers dive and swim underwater. They mainly eat small fish.The male has a dark head with a green sheen, a rusty breast, red legs and red beak. Adult females have a rusty head and a greyish body, red legs and red beak.

Habitat:

Fjord.
