Description:

A moth with a silvery metallic look and distinctive markings. Wingspan about 26-27 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted in backyard. Attracted to a sugar and fruit solution and lights.

Notes:

Larvae feed on leaves of alder, birch, willow, Grand Fir, and Douglas-fir.
