Field Notes

Habitat:

gardens, lawns, feeds on a variety of agricultural and ornamental plants, will shelter in dark moist places in the garden under debris. I usually find them in tucked away during the day in the centers of Bromeliads in my garden.

Notes:

Coming home tonight found these Zachrysias (a.k.a. Cuban Land Snails) mating in the wet walkway through my garden, it's been raining on a daily basis for a couple of weeks here in South Florida. You can see both "love darts" in the pics.
