Field Notes

Description:

Also called Brown Tree Frog it used to be within the Four-lined Tree Frog species (P. leucomystax), but in 1986 it was confirmed as a separate species. Some media mention only China and parts of India as range, but it has been found in Laos and Vietnam too for sure. The occurrence in Thailand is unclear, although the herpetologist that ID-ed this one is very sure about the ID.
