Field Notes

Description:

Small, creme and brown colored grasshopper nymph. It has dark spots on the hind femurs and on the end of the developing wings. The eyes are light like the exoskeleton. There are faint brown stripes on the antenna and legs.

Habitat:

Chaparral on Showy Penstemon next to Deerweed and California Buckwheat.
