Field Notes

Description:

Horned Grege in winter plumage (Migration). Divers. They all go in together and bop back up at about the same times (seen in picture 3). Sharply pointed bill, Darker body. Voice is silent.

Habitat:

Always seen in water. Marshes and lakes in summer. In winter mainly on salt water but also on Great Lakes.
