Arguably the largest moth in the world, this is a female atlas moth, shot in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai, India.

Habitat:

Mixed-deciduous forests.

This female is almost 27 cm big. But they do go bigger than this. Especially females are larger than males.
