Description:

Small ground squirrel that is dark brown above with black and tan stripes running the length of it's back. Animal is gram to white below.

Habitat:

Forest, timber, parks and neighborhoods

Notes:

This is an attractive, curious rodent that sometimes becomes quite tolerant of near - by humans.
