Description:

Very large spider. At least 3 inches from leg tip to leg tip. Neat web in the most classic shape.

Habitat:

Bushy wet hillside. Found in Bhakra, Himachal Pradesh.

Nephila kuhlii, female, as your other Nephila pilipes. The males are much smaller. http://spiderindia.lifedesks.org/pages/19590 Same one as yours, but ID is wrong. This is also Nephila kuhlii, not Nephila maculata, which is the same as your other one, Nephila pilipes (synonym of N. maculata).
