Description:

Slate blue coat, during winter this colour is more clearly visible; they have black markings on legs, chest neck and above the nose towards forehead; short tail; underbelly and inside the limbs are whitish in colour; males horns are curved outward and downward, they also curved backward; females are shorter than males
Photo was taken en-route to Leh from Tsomoriri Lake in Ladakh region of J&K, India

Habitat:

Mountainous regions, above treeline; open grassy area with lots of boulders and high cliff.
Greater Himalayan meadows and Tran-Himalayan regions in India. Ranging from J&K to Arunachal Pradesh

Notes:

This specie displays characteristics of sheep and goat
