This time you can believe me ;-)! Take a look at my suggestion above and compare the pictures in my links with yours and you will not see any differencies. Than you take this one: http://bugguide.net/node/view/559892 and compare with yours and you will see the differencies on the body and the wings. There are indeed many similar looking ones around.
I believe you that you took this picture on your balcony, but it is not Syntomeida ipomoeae, but Syntomoides imaon.
