No. I guess this one will have to go undecided. Thanks for narrowing it down for me though.
I could not rule out L. amoena, southern lobelia, from this photo, if you recall pubescent stems then you could.
Yes, unfortunately this is the only picture I have and I can't go back and see it since it was private property. I was lagging at the back of the group snapping pictures. I think perhaps downy lobelia. Is there another it could be confused with?
Looks like one of the Lobelia, need better look to determine species.
