Field Notes

Description:

The tree itself was not terribly tall, maybe spanning 15 ft max. The leaves had turned completely red, and were beginning to fall.

Habitat:

New England. The climate here changes pretty drastically, transforming from really humid in the summer to really cold in the winter.

Notes:

This tree was on the Gelb lawn. It looks amazing this time of year.

It adds to the Gelb lawn aesthetically. Walking by it every morning makes my morning better. Since I live in PKN, it's a sign that I'm leaving PKN and entering the rest of the campus.
