Description:

Aromatic evergreen shrub, needle like leaves, with white or blue flowers.

Habitat:

Mediterranean garrigue - very common in Calanques region (southern France, around Marseille).

Notes:

Very popular in mediterranean cuisine; twigs and leaves accompany various sauces, marinades, roasts and grills.
